The city centre development of Riverstone Court is made up of 38 apartments, both 1 and 2 bedrooms, set over 3 floors all of which are lift accessible and gated parking for residents cars and buggies. As with other Peveral Managed sites, Riverstone has a resident house manager, guest suite, residents lounge, laundry and offers appropriate social activities. Despite being an urban development Riverstone still benefits from an attractive front garden and secluded patio area accessible from the residents lounge. If a town environment is your priority, Riverstone should be your choice. Kingston Bus and rail stations are moments away, with easy access to London, Richmond, Heathrow and many other local destinations. During the summer months Kingston riverside really comes alive with regular boat trips up and down river to Hampton court, Richmond and beyond. Although the development is set in very much an urban area, for the outdoor lovers, Richmond Park with its abundance of wild and plant life is only a short drive away. Within the 3.69 sq. miles of Royal parkland, Richmond Park is home to many free roaming deer, and with its meandering walking and bike trails complemented by pleasant café`s, its easy to see why the park attracts visitors from all over the world and is a real bonus for the local community.

The development is walking aid and wheelchair friendly, with the possible exception of one or two areas where there might be access difficulties and assistance required. Some assistance may be required to open the communal porch and main entrance doors as these are not automated, nor are the laundry, Residents’ lounge and refuse room doors. Shallow steps from the Residents’ lounge give easy access to the grassed garden and communal patio area however for those with a wheelchair, there is currently no ramp and no other means from the interior of the development to get into the rear garden. For those with a mobility scooter or considering one in the future, there is a garage located in the development car park where it can be stored, however there is limited space and enquiries should be made with the House Manager to see if there is a free space. See development floor plan for location of garage. Kingston high street is only a short level walk or mobility scooter drive away and should be accessible to those using a walking aid.
